Kanika Gupta is a highly motivated and skilled software engineer with a passion for exploring new technologies. With a Master of Technology in Computer Science from BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, Kanika has gained valuable experience in the field of information retrieval, object detection, deep learning, and machine learning. Currently working as a Software Engineer at MathWorks, Kanika is responsible for developing and implementing machine learning and deep learning techniques for pedestrian and vehicle detection to be integrated with Simulink. Prior to this, she served as an Intern at MathWorks' Engineering Development Group, where she researched recent advances and approaches in the field of object detection and implemented machine learning and deep learning techniques for pedestrian and vehicle detection. In addition to her professional experience, Kanika has also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Information Retrieval at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. During her time there, she researched recent advances and approaches in the field of object detection and implemented machine learning and deep learning techniques for pedestrian and vehicle detection. Kanika is an open-minded and curious individual who is always eager to learn and explore new technologies.
