Kanika Murarka is a skilled software engineer with over 6 years of experience in the industry. She is currently working as a Software Engineer II at Microsoft, where she is a part of the M365 Insights team. Kanika is an open-source enthusiast and is passionate about JavaScript. Prior to her current role, Kanika worked at Red Hat as a Software Engineer and Associate Software Engineer. In her role as a FullStack Developer on Red Hat Ceph Storage Dashboard, she worked with Angular4 and CherryPy in a container-based environment (Docker). She also gained experience in monitoring stack (Prometheus, Grafana) and AWS environment. She later started working with Typescript, React, and Kubernates on Openshift console. Kanika also worked on Red Hat Gluster Storage Web Console as a Frontend Developer, where she gained knowledge about Gluster Storage and storage in general. She also worked on a fully functional web application to production and resolved customer cases. In her role as a Frontend Developer on Red Hat Ceph Storage Dashboard, she gained knowledge of working with builds, downstream RPMs, and complete backed to Frontend feature. Kanika completed her Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Northern India Engineering College in 2017. She also holds a High School degree in Non-medical Science with Maths from Presentation Convent Sr. Sec. School. Kanika's expertise lies in Software Engineering, AWS, JavaScript, Frontend, Docker, Typescript, Web, and AngularJS.
