Kanika Singh is a prominent historian with a passion for museums, heritage, Sikh history, Delhi's history, and pedagogy. She is the Director of the Centre for Writing & Communication at Ashoka University and the Co-founder of Delhi Heritage Walks. With nearly a decade of relevant experience, Kanika has made significant contributions to the field of history and heritage. Currently, Kanika is the Reviews Editor for the anthropology of contemporary middle east and central Eurasia - a peer-reviewed journal. She is responsible for reviewing and evaluating articles submitted to the journal. Previously, she worked as an Adjunct Faculty of History at the School of Liberal Studies at Ambedkar University Delhi. She taught Medieval Indian History to undergraduate students. Kanika has also worked as a Researcher and Content Developer at Design Habit & Co. Ltd. She was part of the team that developed the Khalsa Heritage Complex (Virasat e Khalsa) in Anandpur Sahib, Punjab. Her contribution to the project was invaluable, and it is a testament to her expertise in the field of heritage and museums. Kanika holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Heritage, Museums, Sikh History, Postcolonial India from Ambedkar University. She also has a Master's degree in History, specializing in Medieval Indian History from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Apart from her academic qualifications, Kanika is a skilled Research Scientist and has experience in PHP. She is an excellent communicator and has a keen eye for detail. Her passion for history and heritage is evident in her work, and she is always looking for ways to make a positive impact in the field.
