Kanishk Kakar is an experienced software engineer currently working as an Associate at Goldman Sachs. With a passion for building platforms for content distribution and access management, he has taken a somewhat unplanned but happy path from building client apps for mobile and desktop to his current role. Kanishk is a versatile engineer who works across the stack and loves discussing ideas in HCI and distributed systems. He is always eager to chat with others who share his interests. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Kanishk worked as a Software Developer at Google Summer of Code, where he addressed user frustrations and feature requests in a larger attempt to polish the Zulip Desktop app. He also worked as a Software Developer at Reap Benefit. Kanishk holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from Shiv Nadar University, where he developed a strong foundation in software engineering. He also completed his ISC and ICSE from St. Joseph's Academy, Dehradun. With 2.78 years of relevant experience, Kanishk is a skilled and knowledgeable software engineer with a passion for building innovative solutions.
