Kanishk Mahajan is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. He is currently working as the Principal - ISV Solution Architecture Lead at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he provides thought leadership with solution development across multiple AWS domains as well as focuses on ISV Partner/alliance success. Kanishk has built and published 40+ publications at AWS, including solutions, quickstarts, workshops, blog posts, GitHub repos, case studies, etc., that are available publicly. These published solutions address complex areas with no previously defined business strategy and have influenced customer outcomes. Kanishk has also led, delivered, and driven matrixed teams for AWS wide initiatives. In his previous role as Senior Manager, AWS Business Group at Accenture, Kanishk sold and delivered multiyear net new logos for AWS, including SAP on AWS workload migrations, Oracle EBusiness suite on AWS modernizations, AWS DevOps, and IaC led transformations. He also led strategic vendor alliances with Oracle and Palo Alto Networks and developed GTM with Palo Alto to embed Palo Alto Prisma Cloud product in AWS Security landing zone implementations during cloud migrations. Prior to Accenture, Kanishk worked as Director, Product Management at Hortonworks, where he was responsible for product management, conceptualization, and development of technical solutions strategy and build for industry vertical AWS Hadoop offerings. He built offerings targeted towards big data use cases in Financial services (fraud detection) and Retail (inventory optimization). Kanishk holds an MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is an AWS Certified Solution Architect - Professional and an AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional. Kanishk is proficient in AWS, Web, DevOps, Senior Software Engineer, Integration, Mobile, Frontend, product manager, Big Data, and Hadoop technologies.
