Kanishka Mohan is an Associate Partner at RedSeer, currently focused on scaling RedCore, the early stage arm of the company. With almost a decade of experience in management consulting, entrepreneurship, and venture capital, he is a generalist with both thinking and tinkering experience. In his current role, Kanishka is responsible for developing investment theses, conducting deal diligence, and managing portfolios for VC and micro VC funds. He also works with internet startups, providing support in fundraising, product development, brand strategy, and customer engagement. Prior to joining RedSeer, Kanishka worked as a Senior Associate at Takshashila Consulting, where he focused on GTM strategy for digital wallets, growth strategy war-rooms for a global manufacturing group, and an end-to-end digitization initiative for a Gulf bank. He also spent time at Aon as an Associate, where he developed a talent attractiveness model and cycled through various practices, including macro-talent development, talent acquisition, deployment and retention, rewards and performance management, and learning and development. Kanishka holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Aided Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, an MBA from Kedge Business School, and a B.Tech in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. He also completed his high school education at St. John's School in Varanasi. As a generalist, Kanishka is always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn.
