Kapil Khosla is a seasoned product management professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Currently working as a Senior Manager of Product Management Tech at Amazon, he is responsible for improving the quality of Amazon's selection to enhance customer experience and enable faster retail flywheel spinning. In the last 12 months, he has built products and mechanisms to source relevant attributes from selling partners and scaled the products to all marketplaces worldwide. Kapil has previously worked with Amazon as a Senior Manager of Product Management, where he was responsible for seller onboarding, mobile, fraud prevention, and listings. He enabled 500K sellers to be launched on A.in marketplace through self-service, built products to enable sellers to run their end-to-end business on mobile, and simplified the listings experience to reduce seller contacts and simplify selection creation. Prior to Amazon, Kapil worked with Twitter as a Senior Product Manager, India Growth, where he helped build a new messaging app (Udaan) for enabling users to chat with their friends and family by leveraging the best content on Twitter to share in their groups. He presented the concept to leadership to get buy-in, led the market/user research, hiring engineers, designers, and launched the product to get early adopters and influencers across the top 10 colleges in India. Kapil holds a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Madras. He also completed a course from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 2014.
