Kapil Kumar is an experienced MTS at VMware with over 9 years of relevant experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks for mobile, web, and API testing. He has a proven record of developing automation solutions for Android using Espresso and Appium frameworks, as well as enhancing and maintaining API testing frameworks using Rest Assured and Http Client. Kapil has hands-on experience in creating and maintaining test jobs for continuous integration using tools such as Jenkins and Circle CI. He has also set up mobile labs using simulators and real devices, both in-house and using cloud device sharing solutions. Additionally, Kapil has experience in setting up test environments and test data to execute test cases. Kapil's specialties include framework design and other open source technologies such as TestNG, Maven, POI, JMeter, Selenium Grid Hub, REST API, JSON, Ruby, Java, MVC, Docker, AWS, Microservices, Kafka, and MongoDB. He has a solid understanding of virtualization, microservices architecture, cloud, and SaaS. Kapil also has knowledge of debugging and developing APIs using Dropwizard and Spring frameworks. In his current role at VMware, Kapil is an MTS-2. Prior to joining VMware, Kapil worked at Ola and Zoomcar, where he was responsible for developing automation frameworks, testing payment gateways, and performing load testing using JMeter. Kapil holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology.
