He is currently the CEO of Unicommerce, where he drives key strategic and growth initiatives while leading the teams that manage seller onboarding, support, and retention. Kapil has deep expertise in growth strategy, go-to-market strategy, business planning, market assessment, customer service improvement, cost reduction, supply chain transformation, and operational efficiency improvement across multiple industries, including e-commerce, FMCG, retail, telecom, and technology. He has significant global in-market experience across diverse geographies, including South East Asia, the US, China, and Africa. Kapil has successfully demonstrated scaling up and sustaining new businesses in a start-up environment, with significant experience of working with SMEs in India. Prior to joining Unicommerce, he was the Head of Strategy & Operations at the same company, responsible for driving key strategic and growth initiatives. Before joining Unicommerce, Kapil worked as a Senior Associate at A.T. Kearney, where he led several industry-specific growth strategy and operational improvement initiatives across various industries, including home appliances, alcoholic beverages, FMCG, and telecommunications. He has also developed a detailed 5-year business plan and "Should cost" model for leading Indian telecom tower companies. Kapil holds an MBA (Exchange) from the University of North Carolina, a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and a Dual Degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. He has a relevant experience of 15.87 years. Kapil is also an investor and mentor to SaaS startups.
