Kapil has a global experience of working with technology and product companies across payments, financial services, eCommerce, and enterprise software domains. He has a strong business acumen and strategic IT planning skills, and is an expert in developing highly scalable distributed systems in various industries such as financial services, payments, e-commerce, lifestyle, and travel. In his previous roles, Kapil has worked with some of the leading companies in the industry, including OVO (PT Visionet Internasional) and Paytm. As the Head of Engineering at OVO, he led backend platform teams across digital marketplace, rewards, and enterprise tools. While at Paytm, he served as the Associate Vice President and Head of Engineering for the digital marketplace. Kapil has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institute. He has extensive experience in architecting distributed and scalable applications and is proficient in senior software engineering, backend, and web development.
