Kapil Sirse is a cost-conscious and analytical Industrial Engineer with a proven track record of making data-driven decisions to optimize business processes, reduce costs, and implement solutions. He is a detail-oriented Industrial Engineering and Management Post graduate from IIT Dhanbad, offering nearly 4 years of experience with enriched geographical knowledge across India, and various sectors such as Logistics, supply chain, Automotive and Process Industry as Industrial and Supply Chain Solution Engineer. Throughout his career, Kapil has developed sound techno-commercial proposals and acquired new customers. He has a strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and analyze multi-faceted supply chain information to design cost-effective, operationally feasible, and optimal logistics operating solutions to meet customer requirements. He is skilled in analyzing data provided to recognize facts and trends and utilizing the same to design solutions for in-plant logistics and warehousing. Kapil has worked on various projects related to resource and cost optimization, process development, and human capital management in the production of steel and iron ore activities at Jindal Steel and Power Raigarh facilities. He has also previously worked as an Industrial Engineer at UMAS, where he conducted monthly capacity analysis to identify and reduce potential problems to meet customer demand, monitored and improved productivity by measuring machine utilization using Lean Manufacturing Techniques - OEE, TPM, Kaizen, 5S, and established work content for Automotive Companies using Basic MOST, Time study method. He also conducted line balancing, manpower planning & implementation using MOST and work standardization using MOST Technique with Process Study and Line. Kapil is an automobile enthusiast and has participated in 3.5 CC self-build IC ENGINE RACE expeditions. He has also represented VIT Pune at technical events as a member of the College Student Society, where he got the opportunity to work in different areas such as designing, fabrication, procurement, sponsorship, and publicity while developing the IC ENGINE CAR. Currently, Kapil is working as a Senior Manager Supply Chain Solution Design at Mahindra Logistics. He has a relevant experience of 6.79 years and has a tech stack that includes designer, integration, and senior software engineer.
