Kapil is a value-driven product manager and practice captain with over 15 years of experience leading cross-functional teams in the Insurance, Telecom, Travel, and Infotainment industries. He has 5+ years of experience in product development, managing web applications, bots, integration platforms, enterprise utilities, in both B2B and B2C space and is currently working at Allstate as a Group Product Manager. Kapil has set up CompoZed Labs in Allstate Bangalore office, of 30 XP Devs and 7 PMs, where he owned hiring and training support. He co-owns an initiative to bring "Delivery Excellence" for product teams across Allstate India by means of training and coaching, in both product management and technology areas. Kapil is a companion to business owners, empath to users, and pair programs with developers. He owns the product life cycle from initial concept to delivery, working with Business Owners, Sales Team, Allstate Agents, UX Designers & Development teams. He has a rich experience in technology and is also skilled in XP, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe (5.0 certified) methodologies. Apart from his professional experience, Kapil is also passionate about Interior Designing and has converted 20+ "DWELLINGS" to "HOMES" for friends and family, as per their liking, budget, and time constraints. Kapil has previously worked at Harman as a Scrum Master, where he was responsible for Iteration (4 weeks) planning, development, discussions with the product owner, and co-ordination with the testing team. He also worked at Accenture as a Senior Software Engineer. Kapil holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Information Technology from ITM, Gurgaon. He has expertise in product management, test, web, integration, SQL, Java, Spring, software engineering, Javascript, research scientist, Jenkins, MongoDB, Redux, iOS, mobile, frontend, senior software engineering, and NodeJS.
