Karan Agarwal is a highly motivated and driven individual with a passion for finance and technology. He is currently working as an Investment Banking Summer Intern at JP Morgan, where he is part of the North America - Merger & Acquisition team. In this role, Karan has gained valuable experience in valuating companies using various methods such as DCF, Trading Comps, and Transaction Comps, and has created a sell-side pitch for an F&B company based out of the USA. He has also identified Private Indian ESG Companies for JPMC to invest in and analyzed shareholder activism threat on companies by various Hedge funds. Prior to joining JP Morgan, Karan worked as a Technical Consultant at Cisco, where he helped customers achieve a fully optimized network that constantly adapted to their business needs and maximized the return on their network investment. He worked with 100+ clients, including Financial Banks, Fortune 500 companies, Government ministries & Military Organizations, and received the "Connected Recognition Award" twice in 1 year. Karan also conceptualized & prototyped the 'Multipoint Packet Analyzer Tool' to collect and analyze networking protocol pertaining data from various endpoints in a network, which increased the efficiency of TAC Engineers by 40%. Karan has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from XLRI, where he specialized in Business Management (BM). He also holds a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science from VIT. Karan's academic achievements include scoring 92.6% in Class XII from Bishop Conrad Sr. Sec. School. Karan's relevant experience in the industry is 2.03 years.
