Karan Bakshi is a seasoned HR professional with over 13 years of experience in Talent Management, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. He is currently the Head of Talent Management at Michelin, where he leads transformational initiatives, talent acquisition, employer branding, and retention strategies for the AIM region, which includes Africa, India, and the Middle East. Karan is known for his expertise in using analytics for predictive thinking and applications, strategic planning, program management, stakeholder management, vendor management, and operations. He has a good understanding of the India, APAC, Africa, and Middle East regional markets in multiple domains. Karan's ability to identify, assess, track progress, and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels ensures that programs are run successfully within well-defined processes for large-scale projects and program management. He is also skilled in managing executive-level senior stakeholders and driving meaningful discussions while promoting a data-led and data-driven decision-making culture. Prior to joining Michelin, Karan worked as Talent Leader and Executive Hiring for Mastercard India, where he led recruitment delivery for India and South Asia. He was also an active member of PRIDE BRG and People with Special Abilities (PWD). Before that, he was the Staffing Head for TIBCO Software India, where he led a team of 20+ experienced professionals and managed recruitment operations end-to-end. Karan holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the International Management Institute in Belgium, with dual specializations in Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai. Karan is skilled in AI and has a passion for driving insights and proactive actions that positively impact outcomes.
