Karan Banga is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the advertising industry building infrastructure, tools, and data pipelines. He enjoys problem-solving and finding simple, innovative, efficient, and robust solutions for tasks. His preferred languages for development are Python, JavaScript, and React (for frontend components). He has also managed ecosystems in PHP and Ruby on Rails. Karan has worked on various components of the advertising pipeline, including pixel tracking, campaign management, and optimization. He also had the opportunity to design and develop the infrastructure for Commerce IQ, which involved building the backend and coordinating/supervising requirements with the frontend. Karan has worked as a Senior Data Engineer at Simon Markets LLC. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Content IQ, where he built and maintained data ingestion pipelines using AWS Microservices, designed and built the entire infrastructure for a new business unit, and maintained pipeline infrastructure including security, performance, and cost. He has also worked as a Software Design Engineer at Sokrati, where he was involved in Full Stack Development and Automation. Karan holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from KIIT University.
