Karan Checker is a Startup Man, Hacker, Maker, Entrepreneur, and Adventure Seeker. He is currently the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Drish Infotech, leading a team of 100 people based in Chandigarh, India, and California, USA catering to clients across the globe. Karan has over 14 years of relevant experience, having worked with many startups since 2009 in technical consultancy, acting CTO, and Co-Founder roles. Karan's expertise lies in business analysis, defining the MVP, product development, and sales and marketing. He is an MBA graduate from Babson College, one of the premier US entrepreneurship business schools, and an undergraduate degree from one of India's top-ranking engineering schools. Karan has business development, project management, product management, and marketing experience. Karan has co-founded Spurr Proximity Technology, which provides indoor and microlocation solutions for retail analytics and location-based advertising. He also founded Rot8.co, which focuses on 3D printing, 3D scanning, Arduino, Spark Core (Particle), RFDuino, and BLE. Karan is passionate about the Maker movement and has been evangelizing it.
