Karan Jeet is a Senior Software Engineer with over 4 years of experience in building real-time and scalable systems for a mix of serverless and traditional architectures. He is skilled in Python, NodeJs, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch, Mongo, SQL, Machine learning, Javascript, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS technologies, MEAN/MERN stack, and Docker. Karan graduated from the National Institute Of Technology, Delhi in Computer Science and Engineering. He has experience in building big data systems, fintech solutions, and domain-driven design. He is particularly interested in Big Data, Blockchain, Machine learning, and Algorithms. In his current role as a Senior Software Engineer at ziploan, Karan is responsible for designing real-time and offline financial management systems for the product, enhancing features for Retail financing, and leading a team of developers to meet business objectives. He also works with engineers, product managers, and senior leadership to turn the product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap. In his previous role at r2i technology, Karan developed microservices with javascript and python technologies, switched from Rest to Grpc for the internal server to server calls, and analyzed client data flow and process flow to gain an understanding of the protected and unprotected resources in the “Commercial Cards” domain. At Formcept, he designed and implemented distributed data processing systems and computing logic, developed data science and analysis pipelines for various components for the flagship product: MECBOT, and built data integration and cross-validation routines. Karan has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Delhi. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya for his primary and secondary education. Overall, Karan is an analytical thinker with excellent collaboration skills.
