Karan Kataria is an AI and ML enthusiast with a strong background in software and data analytics. He is currently working as an Onestream Application Consultant at Performance Analytics Corporation, where he specializes in .NET and Onestream XF. With over 3 years of relevant experience, Karan has proven himself to be a skilled leader and administrator with a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Netaji Subhas University of Technology (Formerly NSIT). Karan's expertise in Python, C++, OneStream, Anaplan, Java, web development, and leadership has enabled him to work with some of the biggest names in the industry. Prior to his current role, Karan worked as a Software Engineer II at Walmart, where he honed his skills in software engineering and web development. He also worked at Deloitte as an Analyst in the Finance, Technology, and Innovation Department, where he was responsible for the Digital Transformation of a big retail client’s Close, Consolidation, and Reporting process. During his time at Deloitte, Karan engineered multiple Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines in OneStream, pulling data from various ERP systems around the world to provide a reporting solution that optimized the decision-making process for CFO level clients. He also led the entire automation effort in OneStream from design to deployment phase, automating three major ETL pipelines and two major daily exports to Azure BLOB storage, eradicating more than 60+ hours of manual effort in the Monthly Close process. Karan is a strong communicator and has led key design discussions with CFO level clients, adopting a consultative approach in providing solutions to the major bottlenecks in the CCR process of the client. He also served as the Secretary of Crescendo - The Music Society of NSIT during his time at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology.
