Karan Kurani is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with over 11 years of relevant experience in the industry. He is currently the Co-Founder and CTO of doctorc, a fast-growing company that is transforming the healthcare industry. In this role, he is responsible for leading the technology team and driving innovation to create cutting-edge solutions for patients and healthcare providers. Prior to doctorc, Karan co-founded Shoutt, a social discovery platform that helps users discover interesting people and places around them. He also worked as the Lead Software Engineer and Senior Manager of Engineering at Gree, Inc., where he built and scaled the entire analytics system for Funzio, which was subsequently adopted by Gree International after the acquisition. He led the development of the core game engine and infrastructure tools for War of Nations and redesigned an existing pipeline for a machine learning system used internally at Gree. Karan is proficient in a wide range of technologies, including Javascript, SQL, MongoDB, PHP, MySQL, NodeJS, Python, Golang, and Java. Karan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Information Technology from Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. He has also mentored several interns and full-time employees throughout his career and initiated, managed, and led the hackathon initiative of Company Hackathons at Funzio and later at Gree. Karan is currently seeking talented individuals to join his team at doctorc and is especially interested in ex-founder profiles. He is a highly motivated and driven individual who is passionate about leveraging technology to create innovative solutions that solve complex problems.
