Karan Mahajan is a Senior Lead Engineer at Qualcomm with over 8 years of experience in the field of wireless technologies. He completed his Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar in 2014. Karan has extensive experience in developing embedded software in C/C++ for NR 5G MAC Layer. He has a good understanding of 3GPP specs 38.213, 38.214 and other related specs. Currently, he is working on UL/TX related activities of MAC module at Qualcomm. Prior to his current role, Karan worked as a Senior Engineer at Qualcomm where he developed embedded software for NR 5G MAC Layer and worked on UL/TX related activities of MAC module. He also worked as an Engineer at Qualcomm where he developed embedded software for 2G (GERAN) Physical Layer controller which acts as an interface between RF, FW and higher layers such as RR, MAC, etc. Karan's technical skills include Senior Software Engineer, C, and Software Engineer. He is a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow.
