Karan Nirola is an experienced Product Manager with a passion for creating products that positively impact people's lives. He is highly skilled in managing different viewpoints, including engineering folks, cross-functional teams, and customers. Karan has a knack for designing simple and elegant solutions to complex problems and workflows. Karan has 17.96 years of relevant experience managing products in various industries, including enterprise security, identity and access management, networking and virtualization, e-commerce, and procurement. Currently, he works as a Product Line Manager at Model N, where he manages Flex Revenue Manager and Revenue Management Suite. He is actively engaged in SaaS transitions, building REST APIs, migrating key configurations, and simplifying RBAC, UAM, and Identity Management for current features and resources. Karan is also building features around Application Health Monitoring as part of SaaS Enablement. In the past, Karan worked at Gap as a Senior Manager of Product Management, where he managed subcomponents within the PIM rollout program for Old Navy, built and managed an Anti-Corruption Layer between legacy and modern e-commerce systems, contributed to Catalog to Cloud initiative, and managed Catalog Service. He also worked at Oracle as a Lead Product Manager, where he designed, managed, and shipped features for Fusion Procurement Cloud and Supplier Qualification Management. Karan holds a B.Tech degree in Computer Science from Punjab Technical University and a Diploma in Computer Science from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training. He also attended DAV for a year. Karan's tech stack includes product management, Azure, integration, and research scientist.
