Karan Shah is an aspiring entry-level backend developer with a passion for software development. With over 18 months of experience in complex software development initiatives, he is skilled in Java, C, C++, JavaScript, Agile, data structures, MongoDB, Express, React, Node, Scrum Master, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Java Servlet Pages. Karan is a C++ geek with a zeal to learn and grow with, by, and for the community. Currently working as a software engineer at Zuora, Karan is responsible for revamping the integration of Zuora with other third-party gateways for improved customer experience. He has built APIs for various open payment methods within four months of joining and integrated Zuora with Microsoft fraud detection system, thereby reducing the credit card attacks for 1000+ customers. Karan has also solved 100+ Level 3 tickets that were a result of multiple high-priority incidents and triaged 2 to 3 incidents and provided a detailed root cause analysis. Karan's past experience includes an internship trainee position at Chubb, where he automated the entire business process that had impacted 100+ customers. He developed 20+ data visualization graphs based on the inputs and undertook training on Flask for seven days. Karan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Computer from VIT, completed in December 2021. He also holds a twelfth-grade degree in engineering graphics from D.A.V School Gopalpuram and a tenth-grade degree in science from D.A.V School Gopalpuram. Apart from his technical skills, Karan is also flexible, curious, and eager to learn. In his spare time, he enjoys reading books and listening to melodies. Karan is a valuable asset to any company, and he is looking forward to getting to work on new projects in the near future.
