Karan Sikka is an experienced Product Manager currently working at Google, where he is responsible for developing product features for Doubleclick's buy-side platforms. With over 8 years of relevant experience, Karan has a proven track record of success in the tech industry. Prior to his current role, Karan worked as a Software Engineer at Heap, where he led the development of product features and helped migrate the application to a new architecture. He also built a rich dropdown component used across all major UI workflows, supporting icons, hover tooltips, inline descriptions, nested dropdowns, and more. Karan also improved collaboration and data visualization features throughout the product. Karan is also the Founder of Appcubator, a company that enabled anyone to build a full-stack mobile web application. The original product had a drag-and-drop UI for building pages, database models, and more. With the click of a button, users could instantly deploy their application for testing or real usage. Appcubator was open-sourced and is no longer serving new customers. Karan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, with a Minor in Computational Biology, from Carnegie Mellon University. He also completed the Garcia MRSEC program in Materials Science at Stony Brook University and the Science Honors Program in Nanotechnology and Microbiology Lab at Columbia University.
