Karan Thakkar is a Full Stack Cloud Software Developer with over 3 years of professional experience in software engineering, cloud development, full-stack data science, web application development, data pipelines and visualization. He has reduced the 154 routes to 115-120 routes for each day, reduced bus distance traveled by pairing busses which finished drop-offs at school to be routed for another trip if possible. Karan has also developed an application for audience analysis for use by sports and entertainment venues, leveraging AWS Rekognition Services, Python, Lambda, and S3. The application assigns a unique ID to each person and can associate the data if seen that person before. It captures demographics data (i.e. age, gender), captures data about expressions (i.e. emotion), and data can be served immediately for real-time adjustments to music, lighting, etc. Karan holds a Masters's degree in Computer Science from Pace University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the University of Mumbai.
