Karan is a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, Karan serves as the Co-Founder and CTO of zeze, a kids edutainment app. He has played a key role in building scalable systems around content delivery, optimizations, recommendations, analytics, and more. Prior to this, he co-founded and served as the CTO of udayy, a Series-A edtech startup that delivers live classes to thousands of kids and hundreds of teachers each day. Under his leadership, the business scaled to $2.5M ARR. Karan has also co-founded zestmoney, where he served as the Co-Founder. At zestmoney, he developed PhotographAI, a one-stop technology platform for ready-to-use machine learning solutions for businesses. The platform offers intelligent OCR, extracting human-filled information from images, image classification models, face detection and recognition, text classification, and a super-fast inference server.
