Karanpreet Singh is an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner and Software Developer at Amdocs. With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology, Karanpreet has a passion for software development and improving people's lives through practical solutions. He has 3.69 years of relevant experience in the industry and is well-versed in various technologies including Java, Spring, SQL, PL/SQL, HTML, CSS, JSP, SVN, Git, Perforce, AWS, Spring Boot, JPA, Spring Rest, and Java Stream. Currently, Karanpreet is working on upgrading Amdocs' client from Cramer 6.4 ARM to Cramer 21.01 ARM. He is responsible for development, deployment via Jenkins, end-to-end sanity, and support. He is also exposing web services via REST API and using Spring to handle and authenticate/authorize calls from the client with the help of an authentication mechanism that checks for each call before sending the request to TMF. Karanpreet has also handled request and response JSON manipulation using POJOs and mapping different object models/request-response structure using Map Struct feature. He is documenting technical workflows and knowledge in a private wiki for the education of newly hired employees. Karanpreet believes that software development is a never-ending exam where one will get new problems every day for which reliable solutions must be provided.
