Karel Luwena is an accomplished Engineer and Entrepreneur currently working on something new with his stealth company. With over 6 years of relevant experience, Karel has a proven track record of success in the tech industry. He has previously worked as a Software Engineer at payfazz (yc s17), where he built bridges to serve the unbanked Indonesian SMEs. payfazz is the first Indonesian startup backed by Y-Combinator and Y-Combinator top 100 companies by valuation 2019. Karel has also worked as a Project Manager at Indonesia Defence Services, where he played a key role in building a world-class aerospace & defence company in Indonesia. Karel holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) Honours in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Sydney. He also completed an Advanced Software Engineering Immersive Program (On-Site San Francisco) at Hack Reactor, where he gained expertise in Computer Software Engineering. Karel's strong educational background and technical skills have enabled him to excel in his career. Karel is a Software Engineer by trade and has experience with various tech stacks. He is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and has a deep understanding of the tech industry.
