Karolina Pawlikowska is a highly skilled Video Software Engineer at Canva and a Mentor at Project F with over 5 years of relevant experience in the tech industry. She is passionate about creativity, curiosity, and connecting with like-minded individuals. Karolina is one of the initial members of the Canva Video product and has worked on almost every aspect of the video production software in both Android and Web space. She has also worked as an Android Video Engineer and an Android Engineer at Canva, where she was responsible for the design and implementation of the video processing and rendering pipeline, as well as the Android Canva app search experience, performance, and team collaboration features. As the Tech Lead and Coach at Canva, Karolina is responsible for setting the technical direction and participating in the implementation of projects, including video-specific optimizations for cross-platform solutions for mobile clients, Video Messages, Recording Studio, and coaching two junior engineers. Karolina holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Warsaw, where she also earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
