Karshni Mitra is a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University with a passion for data-driven decision making in complex business use cases. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Information Systems Management with a focus on Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. Karshni has a strong interest in machine learning, data science, and storytelling using big data. Karshni is proficient in several programming languages including Python, Java, SQL, and JavaScript. She is also skilled in technical tools such as AWS, Git, and IBM Cognos Analytics. Currently, Karshni works as an Associate Consultant at Capgemini where she has designed and developed the user interface of an interactive data analytics and visualization platform using ReactJS and Redux. She has also developed multiple dashboards and charts based on client requirements. Additionally, she has maintained and supported web applications through major code refactoring and optimization of several modules. Karshni has collaborated with backend teams to automate code deployment. Prior to her current role, Karshni worked as a Senior Analyst at Capgemini and as a Web Development Intern at Mestech Services. At Mestech Services, she updated and redesigned several components to provide enhanced interactivity and a modern look to the company website. Karshni holds a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology from SRM University. She also completed her CBSE 12th from City International School and her ICSE 10th from The Bishop's School. Karshni's tech stack includes AWS, Data Scientist, Web, SQL, Redux, Backend, Big Data, Javascript, ML, ReactJS, Python, and Java. With 3.77 years of relevant experience, Karshni is a highly skilled and motivated individual with a passion for data-driven decision making.
