Karthick Sivakumar is an experienced software professional with 17 years of industry experience in healthcare, banking, SaaS, and retail domains. He has played various roles like project lead, systems analyst, and techno-functional analyst. Karthick is an energetic leader of analytics for big data applications on inventory and content analytics, SaaS financial reporting, enterprise credit and risk reporting applications. He has end-to-end development experience in SQL server reporting, mainframe technologies, analytics, and metrics reporting. Currently, Karthick is working as a Staff Data Analyst at Walmart Global Tech India. In his current role, he provides thought leadership and guidance to mission-critical content curation initiatives. He works with cross-functional teams working across a broad range of initiatives, platforms, and technology to provide timely, actionable insights to deliver a tangible return on investment. Previously, Karthick worked as a Manager - Business Analytics at Freshworks, where he evangelized a metrics-driven culture with special focus on financial analytics and reporting. He worked closely with directors and C-level execs to deliver world-class analytics and reporting solutions. He built and managed a team of data engineers, reporting analysts, and business analysts to develop a world-class self-service analytics platform from scratch. He created a business analytics framework to provide business insights for CIO, CFO, CROs offices, product owners, and business leads. Karthick has also worked as a Senior Analyst at BA Continuum India Pvt Ltd. He analyzed critical credit data flow for worldwide retail and wholesale markets platforms of the Bank and provided solutions for platforms that report to Top of the house, CFO, and regulators including but not limited to Global Credit Data Consortium and Basel. He generated mission-critical reports for product owners and business leads to enable the calculation of probability of defaults and risk exposure. Karthick holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics from the University of Madras - Vivekananda College. He has expertise in SQL, big data, GCP, Snowflake, Spark, Python, ML, Azure, software engineer, senior software engineer, and Apache Hive.
