Currently, Karthik works as a Digital Developer in the Automation and Innovation team at Atkins, an engineering design consultancy. His role involves developing tools and applications for various engineering disciplines such as Civil and Structural engineering, Geo-spatial information and Environment, and Project management and support teams. He has created scripts, plugins, and applications to assist in the design and analysis of infrastructure projects, resulting in significant cost savings and improved efficiency. Karthik's skills include developing VBA scripts for Excel, building plugins to customize software, and building bots using Robotic Process Automation tools. With his experience in both .NET and Python, he can develop Desktop tools and Web applications using both technologies. He also has knowledge of Cloud services, Full-stack Development, Data Science, and Machine Learning, which allows him to provide solutions to problems in diverse fields. Karthik's interests lie in using Computer Vision and Neural networks to solve problems in the fields of remote sensing and medical imaging.
