Karthik Hari is a highly experienced Director of Technology with over 14 years of experience in eCommerce and heading offshore development centers for the past 8 years. He has successfully driven delivery and provided strategic directions on growth, spearheading advanced technology initiatives. Karthik has scaled technology and assisted in growing offshore development centers from 4 to 40 people. Karthik is experienced in building complex Oracle Commerce solutions OCC and OSF (B2B and B2C) that have been successfully delivered to customers. He has worked with various clients such as GearCoop, Specialized Bikes, Zimmer Biomet, LifeLabs, LifeScan, Haymes, Thingsremembered, Enerpac, Petmate, VisionWorks, SpinMaster, Westrock, Invacare, Osborn, and Giant, to name a few. Karthik is responsible for building the Oracle Commerce technical practice and defining expansion strategies offshore. He has led proposal efforts, evaluation, and estimation for Oracle Commerce Projects. Karthik has a proven ability to identify, recruit, develop, train, and retain talent. He has instituted a steering committee to align IT initiatives and improve organizational operations. Karthik has directed and managed all technology needs for the offshore development center and cross-trained employees on niche technology. He has strong experience and exposure to design, development operations, migration from legacy systems, and production support life cycle in Oracle Cloud Commerce. Karthik is an Oracle, Sun, and Commerce Tools Certified Specialist. Karthik has hands-on experience in multiple cloud platforms like Oracle, AWS, Google, Shopify, and Mulesoft. He is currently working at Mastek as the Director of Technology. Karthik has previously worked at Taistech as the Associate Director of Technology and Best Buy as a Senior ATG/eCommerce Developer. Karthik holds a Post Graduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from GLIM, BE in Computer Science from Anna University, and a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from P.S Senior Secondary School, Chennai, India. His tech stack includes AWS and Java. Karthik has 11.44 years of relevant experience.
