He has gained in-depth experience and understanding of touch drivers for Hybrid In Cell, Out Cell, and Semi In Cell sensor technologies. Karthik has excellent experience in developing and commercializing various HAL & framework features in DSP. In addition, he has developed and enhanced new tools for sensor tuning (mutual-cap and self-cap) and in enabling manufacturing tests during touch panel production. Karthik has led the Wideband Audio Codec Drivers team and was responsible for system software design, development, & commercialization of WCD9340. He was the chief architect of system software used in Tensilica DSP processor used in WCD934x chipsets. Karthik has also led the ADSP platform team responsible for ADSP concurrency definition, ADSP system-level feature designs, ADSP performance and profiling, image integration & distribution, ADSP process development. He has also led the Audio Voice framework team with a very wide technical scope. Karthik has worked with several teams at Qualcomm and has led them to develop and commercialize several audio features across various Qualcomm chipset families. He has driven various design discussions, documented use cases & requirements, reviewed the code & tracked the projects in Microsoft project plan. Karthik has generated design documents and API specifications for both internal and external customers. He has defined project roadmaps up to 6 months to 1 year ahead.
