Karthik Kumar is a highly experienced technology professional and entrepreneur with over 18 years of relevant experience. He has a proven track record of developing end-to-end lifecycle solutions in partnership with product developers, presales of enterprise products, and social media marketing strategy, automation, and execution. Karthik also possesses extensive knowledge of machine learning and statistics, using R and Mahout, to infer actionable KPIs from raw data. He is proficient in big data solutions, using technologies such as Hadoop, HBase, Kafka, Zookeeper, Lucene, Solr, ElasticSearch, and others, with significant contributions to the open-source communities. Currently, Karthik is self-employed, where he builds, designs, develops, and sells SaaS applications. In the past, he has worked as the Chief Software Architect at Devfactory, where he redesigned the underlying architecture of a given product. He has also worked as an Architect at Myntra, where he designed a data platform to help with personalized recommendations for one of the leading e-tailers in the fashion industry.
