Karthik Menon is a talented Frontend Engineer with over 3 years of relevant experience. He is currently working remotely as a Software Engineer at BigBinary, where he is a core member of the team responsible for releasing and maintaining a reusable UI component library called neetoUI. Karthik has also worked on multiple neeto products, including neetoDesk, neetokb, and neetoForm, from their initial stages. He led the revamp of the Front End codebase to ensure code quality, made product decisions and design patterns, introduced react-query into neeto products, and identified and fixed UX issues across the products. Karthik is also the author of the Front End Guidelines book, which is being followed as the best practices for Front End development (React & UI) at BigBinary. Apart from his technical skills, Karthik also has experience in product management. He works closely with the BigBinary UX team on providing pixel-perfect UI for products. He rectifies UX issues in various products and prepares and plans a roadmap for the product from feature listing to the end of development. Additionally, he is part of the React, UI, and UX hiring team. Karthik has previously worked as a Frontend Developer at SurveySparrow, where he gained valuable experience in the field. He holds a Bachelor of Technology with Honours from Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology and a High School Diploma from Navrachana Education Society. His tech stack includes Frontend, Software Engineer, UI, Redis, and Ruby. Karthik is a total nerd who can often be found in cafes sipping on cold coffee and reading endless open blogs. He is passionate about building a next-gen community platform and is currently working on it as a Frontend Engineer at Circle.
