Karthik Sankaran is a Certified ScrumMaster® and a Lead DevOps Engineer with over 15 years of experience in designing, implementing, supporting, automating, and optimizing critical deployments in Cloud and hosted environments. He has a proven track record of solving complex problems and meeting goals with excellent multitasking skills. Currently, he is working as a Lead Software Engineer at Broadsoft, where he is responsible for deploying docker images in AWS and GCP Kubernetes clusters, setting up logging stack, ELK, and configuring and installing open source packages like Tomcat, Apache httpd, Open dap, and MySQL in production servers. In his previous roles, Karthik has worked as a Software Engineer at Packet Island Inc., where he automated the Private Cloud Installer for USA-DOJ, Panterra Networks, and Sogetel, and as a Chief System Engineer at EPAM Systems. He has also customized open source packages by writing RPM specs and creating RPM builds, set up Linux machines for production and development, and configured file systems on the Linux servers for performance testing. Karthik holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Information Technology from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Sona College of Technology. He has expertise in DevOps, Docker, CI/CD, Ansible, Jenkins, MySQL, Kafka, AWS, Kubernetes, GCP, and web development.
