Karthik Seetharam is a Senior Software Engineer with 13 years of experience in the field of Data and Dataops. He is currently employed at VMware as a SaaS Infrastructure Engineer (Data) and Analytics where he works on all things data, including data management, data analytics, database administration, and SRE. Karthik is responsible for managing the operations of Airwatch SaaS environments across multiple DCs, performance monitoring and improvement, and first response for Prod issues/SRE. He also automates day-to-day operations using Ansible and Jenkins and aggregates data across the SaaS platform for growth indicators and anomaly detection. Karthik has previously worked at VMware as a Product Operational Specialist and Database Developer, where he built data models for large SaaS-based applications using MS SQL. He designed dashboards and telemetry on data signals to effectively draw insights using Tableau and SSRS. He also worked with product management teams to collect user action event data to build a data-driven application and performed performance tuning on SaaS production databases. Karthik is skilled in data mining and data visualization using Tableau to draw insights into the data. Karthik holds a B.E in Computer Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University. His technical expertise includes infra, software engineering, SRE, Ansible, and Jenkins.
