Karthik Sekar is a Lead Software Engineer at FileInvite with over 11 years of experience in full stack web application development. He has a passion for turning ideas into software products and is particularly interested in startups and SaaS products. Karthik keeps himself updated with the latest software products by following Product Hunt and actively reading about AI, AR, and Growth Hacking. Karthik is a self-motivated individual who can work independently or as part of a team. He is proficient in using technologies like Vue.js, Laravel, AngularJS, Symfony, PHP, MySQL, Google Cloud, and AWS. In his previous role as a Senior Software Developer at Stuff, Karthik worked on the Neighbourly platform as a Fullstack developer. He modernized parts of the platform as a SPA with ReactJS & Redux and created an ExpressJS middleware for the groups' feature of the app. At Metagame Technologies, Karthik built a multi-tenant white-labeled user engagement platform for esports and gaming industry from scratch and converted the server-side Laravel application into Vue.js single page application. He also built game quests and challenges system with a leaderboard and score verification using League of Legends game API integration and made a theme builder in Vue.js to style the default theme so smaller activations can be launched rapidly. Karthik completed his PGDiploma in Computer Science from the University of Otago in 2011 and his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Information Technology from Anna University in 2009. He is a Software Engineer with experience in AWS, AI, Javascript, VueJS, PHP, MySQL, Web, Redux, Integration, ReactJS, and AngularJS.
