Karthik Shettigar is an ethical hacker and a software engineer with a passion for coding and solving complex problems. Born and raised in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Karthik's coding journey began in 8th grade when he attended his first live hands-on course on Robotics. He was fascinated by the idea that such complex devices could be controlled by a few lines of code. This sparked his interest in learning to code. Karthik's first language was HTML, and he gradually slipped into CSS. He loved the fact that everything we see online was made using these languages. Later, he learned Python and started making his life simpler using some basic Python scripts. Currently, Karthik is studying Java and JavaScript and is on the journey to becoming a software engineer. Karthik is currently working as a Frontend Developer at rudratech it services. He has previously worked as a Software Developer at Nexa Software and as a Cybersecurity expert at Devtown. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Mumbai and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Cybersecurity from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Karthik's tech stack includes Frontend, JavaScript, ReactJS, Software Engineering, and Python. He is also a blogger and shares his progress and knowledge through his blogs on Medium.
