With Tobu, he helps recruitment and talent acquisition professionals save money on sourcing by building their own candidate database. Tobu automatically fetches every resume/CV lying in those places and identifies all key candidate details like name, email, phone no, job title, etc with unbelievable accuracy. It creates a downloadable database of candidates and a private searchable database of candidates by advanced search criteria like keywords, boolean, location, job title, etc. Tobu also provides an email campaign feature to reach out/engage with candidates and a way to move data/migrate into other systems/ATSs. Karthik has delighted customers from the US, UK, Canada, South Africa, Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Australia, and Pakistan. Over 16 million documents have been processed by Tobu, and it is GDPR compliant and super secure. A Google Verified app, Tobu undergoes a yearly security audit by Google's official security partners. Karthik and his team do not own/sell/share your data; it is yours alone. Before Tobu, Karthik co-founded CVRanker and CVLift. He developed the entire backend for CVLift, which gives job seekers the right keywords to be added to their resume so as to not get screened out by resume screening software. CVLift analyzed millions of jobs and the skills required for each to come up with a recommendation of top skills for each job for a job seeker. CVLift is still live and gets over 35,000 unique users each year. Karthik has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington University in St. Louis - Olin Business School and an MBA exchange degree from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. He also has a B Tech in Information Technology from COEP Technological University and completed his SSC and HSC from Loyola High School, Pune. He also completed an Executive Program in Tech Entrepreneurship from MIT Sloan School of Management. Karthik's relevant experience is 12.35 years, and his tech stack includes search, AI, computer vision, and backend.
