Karthik Unnikrishnan is an accomplished Talent Acquisition Manager with over 8 years of experience in the field. He has a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams of TA professionals to cater to business demand by developing and implementing innovative hiring strategies across multiple business segments. Currently working with Razorpay as a Talent Acquisition Manager, Karthik has extensive experience in team/people management, hiring for various categories, business and vendor development teams, HR analytics, leadership hiring, volume hiring, program & product teams, design and operations teams. Prior to Razorpay, Karthik has worked with Byju's in various roles including Talent Acquisition Manager - Product Hiring and Recruitment Manager. In these roles, he was responsible for maintaining data related to all hiring campaigns for the central recruitment team, optimizing staffing policies, systems, and processes, monitoring internal HR systems and databases, and carrying out employee personal file management. He has also been involved in planning different strategies to motivate and increase team performance gradually, managing discreet and confidential information, and providing timely and accurate statutory reporting and submission to respective teams/administration. Karthik has handled a team of 20+ members, which includes recruitment associates, recruitment leads, recruitment managers, job boards, and a vendor team, and has built strategies and handled entire recruitment for PAN India. Karthik holds a PGDM in Business Analytics - HR from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University. He has also completed his 12th CBSE and 10th ICSE from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's and FACT Udyogamandal School, respectively. Karthik has a diverse tech stack and is also a Data Scientist. With almost 7 years of relevant experience, he has demonstrated his ability to work in a startup mode as well as in an MNC and drive strategic projects for TA.
