Karthik Vellur is an accomplished Full-stack Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience in Applications Development and Quality Assurance. He is currently working as a Staff Software Engineer (Frontend) at Intuit, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining FDPTools, a user-facing application for the FDP Platform that provides support capabilities for Financial Data. Karthik is a Full-stack developer with expertise in Java/J2EE, Web 2.0 & Cloud-based development. He is also an expert in Web services Automation & UI Test Automation (Selenium based). In his current role, Karthik is responsible for Microservices development using Spring, Hibernate, UI development using ReactJS, Test Automation, and End to End responsibility of the release cycle on AWS, including Monitoring, Cloudops using Chef config management. He has also solely migrated a Micro-service (FDA - Financial Data Administration) from legacy in-house Data Centre to In-house Kubernetes platform - IKS. He was involved in code changes (Library upgrades, Security fixes), configuration changes, pipeline set-up. He has also developed a micro-service from scratch -- HTML Storage service, which stores HTML documents on Kubernetes platform. Karthik has led the migration efforts of FDPTools application from Legacy Data Centre to AWS. He was involved in Code changes, Chef configuration management, Monitoring setup. In his past roles, Karthik has worked as a QE Engineer responsible for End to End Quality of "Document Service" at Intuit, where he was responsible for 100% Automation of the web service & Framework development using Rest Assured library, End to End Integration testing with other services, High-quality release with zero defect tolerance, and working with performance team to provide inputs on performance aspects. He has also worked as a Sr. Engineer at BlueJeans, where he was responsible for performing end to end testing of Any2Many Product, a Cloud-based video collaboration service. Karthik holds a BE degree in Information Science from Visvesvaraya Technological University and completed his 12th from St. Joseph's Pre University College. His relevant experience
