Karthikeyan Durairaj is an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer with over 14 years of relevant experience in the Computer Networking and Wireless Security industry. He has extensive knowledge and expertise in designing and implementing Linux servers on AWS Cloud using major services like EC2, ELB, VPC, Security Groups, RDS, Route53, S3, Auto-scaling, and more, which is essential to build secure and cost-optimized solutions on AWS Cloud. Currently, Karthikeyan is working as a Software Test Engineer at Arista, where he is responsible for launching EC2 instances on AWS with appropriate compute size, creating security groups, auto-scaling, Elastic load balancers (ELB) in defined VPC, and more. He has also worked on web and application server installation on new CentOS build with upgraded postgres version on EsXI & Cloud Server on AWS, and server deployments - EC2 instances on AWS for Cloud customers and VM on EsXI or supported high-end Appliance especially for Federal customers on EsXI. In the past, Karthikeyan has worked as a QA Team Lead at Mojo Networks (Airtight Networks is now Mojo) acquired by Arista Networks, where he gained hands-on experience in designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective AWS solutions. He was responsible for launching EC2 instances for web-servers in multiple availability zones with auto-scaling functionality under an Elastic Load Balancer, preparing documentation for customer scenarios required for the verification of cloud architecture, and building server architecture models for cloud customers in AWS environment. Before that, Karthikeyan worked as an RF Engineer at SmartBridges Telecom India Pvt. Ltd, where he was responsible for outdoor physical site survey, wireless network planning and design, deployment of outdoor long-distance point-to-point and point-to-multi-point wireless networks, BTS/BSC/MSC installation and commissioning. Karthikeyan holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Computer Science from SNS College of Technology. He is proficient in AWS, test, SDET, Web, Postgres, and QA.
