Karthikeyan Nagarajan is an AI/ML/DL expert with extensive experience in computer vision and autonomous driving. He is a passionate engineer and an innovative thinker who is always on the lookout for interesting problems to solve through innovation. With over 8 years of experience in research and product development, Karthikeyan possesses all the necessary skills to add value to any organization. Currently working as a senior computer vision researcher at Zebra Technologies, he is part of the Chief Technical Office. In his previous roles, Karthikeyan has worked as a senior software engineer at Moovita Pte Ltd and Mercedes Benz. At Moovita Pte Ltd, he was responsible for research, design, development, deployment, and project management of deep-learning-based future trajectory prediction and deep-reinforcement-learning-based behavioral planning in level 4/5 autonomous driving. At Mercedes Benz, he was responsible for research, design, development, and project management of machine learning algorithms for road profile estimation and construction site recognition. Karthikeyan has a diverse range of interests outside of his work as an engineer. He is an artist, badmintonist, cricket fanatic, and traveler. His creativity and patience are evident in his paintings, which can be viewed on his Instagram profile. Karthikeyan holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Instrumentation from the Madras Institute of Technology, Chennai, India. He also completed his 12th grade in Physical Sciences and Computer Science from NSN Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Karthikeyan's technical skills include computer vision, research scientist, AI, deep learning, ML, and software engineering.
