Karthikeyan Palani is a Senior System Analyst with over 12 years of experience in the field of Data Warehousing. He has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in using Informatica Powercenter 8.x, 9.x, and 10.1.1, and is well-versed in ETL processes, business process analysis, design development, testing, and implementation. Karthikeyan is an expert in using Informatica components such as Powercenter Designer, Mapping Designer, Workflow Manager, and Workflow Monitor. He has also been involved in performance tuning of mappings, sessions, and query tuning. He has a good understanding of dimensional modeling, including Star Schema and Snowflake Schema, and has worked with different data sources like XML, flat files, and relational sources. Karthikeyan has worked with different databases like DB2 and SQLSERVER and has a good knowledge of writing shell scripts. He has also been involved in ER modeling and has strong analytic skills. He is a self-driven individual, keen to learn and adopt new technologies and processes. Currently, Karthikeyan is working as a Data Warehouse Engineer at UOB.
