Karthikeyan Rajendran is an experienced software craftsman who loves to develop beautiful, robust, high-performance, and well-architected software for greater maintenance and rich user experience. With over 10 years of relevant experience, he has designed robust architectures at the component level and has a good understanding of design patterns, workflow engines, state machines, and architectural patterns like MVVM and MVC. Karthikeyan is fluent in C# and has experience in developing applications using Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF - XAML). He is also a designer with strong skills in user interface design, user experience design, icon and logo design, and can use design tools like Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects. As a senior software engineer, Karthikeyan is familiar with Scrum and has experience in planning and estimation, task management, code reviews, and design reviews. He is an avid reader and learner, constantly motivated to learn and explore. He loves to read books of different journals, blogs, technical articles, and sometimes writes technical articles himself. Currently, Karthikeyan is working as a Systems Analyst at Ivy Comptech (Entain Group), where he has worked closely with other business analysts and UI/UX development teams to deliver high-quality and rich UI design and user experience for a better gaming experience. He has contributed to UI theme development, UI design guidelines, and building UI resource library. He has also mentored and guided freshers and new joiners to foster proper completion of assigned duties. In the past, Karthikeyan has worked as a Software Specialist at Mettler-Toledo International, Inc, where he developed beautiful, robust, high-performance, and well-architected software. He has also worked as a Freelance Software Developer at Shanthi Gears, where he developed automation software for both 2D and 3D modeling for AutoCAD and Inventor using WPF, C#, ObjectARX, and iLogic. Karthikeyan has a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Anna University (Oxford Engineering College) and completed his HSC and SSLC from NSVV Boys Higher Secondary School.
