Karthikeyan Raman is a DevOps Specialist with over six years of experience in software development lifecycle, build and release engineering, site reliability engineering, and cloud infrastructure architecture. Currently working at SAP Labs, he is engaged in developing and maintaining continuous integration, deployment, and infrastructure automation for SAP Artificial Intelligence SAAS products in Kubernetes environment hosted on multiple hyperscalers. Karthikeyan has worked in a variety of roles in different companies. At SAP, he is currently working in the Virtual Central CICD team towards the vision of frictionless daily delivery. He executes POCs, implements best practices in CI/CD and infrastructure, and manages and trains the consultant’s team to implement reusable pipelines and infrastructure as code. He has also automated K8s cluster bootstrapping with system services in Alicloud and AWS. Before joining SAP, Karthikeyan worked at Cognizant, where he managed application-related infrastructure set-up in on-premises environment and AWS cloud, managed CI pipelines in Jenkins, and CD pipelines in Rundeck. He also planned and implemented data center migration that involved moving all applications to a new location. Karthikeyan has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from Misrimal Navajee Munoth Jain Engineering College. He also has a background in computer science from Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School. Karthikeyan has experience working with various technologies such as DevOps, infra, SRE, CI/CD, Terraform, AWS, AI, Jenkins, Kubernetes, test, Docker, Puppet, integration, software engineering, Golang, web, and product management. With almost eight years of relevant experience, Karthikeyan is a seasoned professional in his field.
