Karthikeyan Ramasamy is a highly skilled Principal Engineer with over 14 years of relevant experience in the design and development of SaaS products. He is currently working at Freshworks as a Principal Engineer, Platforms, where he is responsible for building a marketplace and citizen developer ecosystem. Karthikeyan is passionate about creating innovative solutions that address real-world needs. He has a proven track record of handling real-time challenges and designing and building distributed, high-performance, reactive/elastic microservices with high availability (99.99+%). He has also been granted three patents from USPTO, with four more patents pending. Prior to joining Freshworks, Karthikeyan worked at AppDynamics as a SaaS Architect/Senior Technical Leader, where he was responsible for designing and developing Digital Experience Monitoring-Synthetic monitoring. He built the product on top of the latest and greatest tech stacks and deployed it on multiple public cloud providers using Kubernetes. He processed millions of web measurements per day across cloud providers and regions. Before that, Karthikeyan worked at VMware as a Staff Engineer, where he designed and developed a seamless end-to-end, multi-cloud management experience for enterprise users with end-to-end orchestration of CI/CD for customer applications (99.9% availability). He used Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Swagger, and JWT in his work. Karthikeyan's technical skills include Kubernetes, Microservices, Senior Software Engineer, Web, AWS, CI/CD, and Docker.
