Karthikeyan V is an experienced Advisory Software Engineer with a career spanning over 14 years in the field of software development, testing, and automation. He is currently working as an Intern at Yahoo, where he is responsible for testing and automating Hadoop, an open-source data crunching platform. Karthikeyan has a strong background in managing projects and developing test automation tools. He specializes in test automation and testing various aspects of software, including functional, scale, and performance testing in Linux. He has also developed distributed applications using Hadoop and MR. Additionally, he has working experience in cluster, grid, storage, compute, and network virtualization, using Xen Server and Hyper-V, and Cloud Computing (Platform). Karthikeyan has worked with Java and shell scripting, and his technical skills include software engineering, testing, SDET, Java, Hadoop, and infra. He has previously worked as a Senior Quality Engineer at Yahoo, where he worked on various projects, including Grid Data Management (GDM), Archival, HDFSproxy, and Distcp. He was responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of data in the grid, acquiring data from the warehouse to grid, replicating data to other grids, and retaining data based on configuration.
