Kartik Kumar is a Computer Science student with a passion for exploring the intersection of computer science with other fields and technologies. He is highly enthusiastic about open-source development, algorithm and data structures, and competitive programming. He is also a game developer with a keen interest in computer graphics. Kartik is interested in making things from scratch and is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to upgrade his skills and learn new technologies. Kartik has worked on several projects, including Google Summer of Code 2019, where he was a student developer with BRL-CAD/LibreCAD. His project involved developing a complete, well-abstracted, accelerated rendering engine implementation with C/C++, OpenGL, GLSL, CPU+GPU programming, data structures, OOPs, computer graphics, pipeline, and Linux. He has also worked as a VR/AR developer intern at Avidia, where he developed virtual reality mobile/desktop game applications on Google Cardboard/HTC Vive using Unity 3D, C#, json, and blender. He has also developed a generic package (scripts & template) for developing simulations for the learning of physics (interaction-based, algorithmic, animated, and MCQs) in virtual reality. Kartik has also worked on real-world immersive and interacting VR simulations of physics and biology for schools. He has experience in 3D printing using CAD and slicer. Kartik is currently working as a software engineer at Samsung. He has a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur. He also holds an ISC 12th degree in Science from Springfield College, Moradabad, and an ICSE 10th degree in Science from Springfield College, Moradabad. Kartik's tech stack includes software engineering, mobile development, C, and Web3. With 3.20 years of relevant experience, he is a skilled programmer and developer who is passionate about exploring new technologies and collaborating on tech projects.
